The Minnesota Legislature has convened for the 2010 session. We will be monitoring upcoming state budget cuts to assure they do not disproportionately target conservation and environmental programs. The Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment to Minnesota's constituion prohibits using the new funds to replace cuts in existing programs. In addition, Conservation Minnesota will be monitoring projects funded by the Amendment to assure they deliver real conservation results.
